Biography

• Grandfather of noted comic Fred Armisen^[1][2]
• celebrated "Japanese" dancer Masami Kuni (邦正美) / Masami Ehara (江原正美) - who was actually of Korean descent and originally named Pak Yeong-In (박영인)^[1][2]
• According to US Intelligence archives, he may have acted as a Japanese spy/agent in Nazi Germany as he was touring & giving performances. He requested and was granted the right to go and entertain troops at the front lines and would have been in a position to gather intelligence because of his social standing and recognition as an artist.^[2]
• Kuni Memorial Room is a museum (or section?) dedicated to his contributions to dance & choreography^[2]
